Reasons to Choose Myrtle Beach Yacht Club

There are few marinas in Myrtle Beach than can match the conveniences, services and security of the Yacht Club:

  • Easy to Reach from Highway 17
Boaters from Wilmington to Wrightsville, Topsail Island to Hampstead, and Atlantic Beach to Morehead will find the marina's Little River, SC location easily accessible from Highway 17. A welcomed route in comparison to the slow drive to other marinas on this area's narrow and winding two-lane roads.
  • Accommodates Large Yachts
The Yacht Club's Coquina Harbor location is deep enough to accommodate large vessels. The marina itself offers 153 boat slips - up to 55 ft. The wide berth of larger yachts can be easily accommodated in several slips including T-Head slips for easier turning radius.
  • Swift Access to the Atlantic
Yacht Club offers swift access to the Atlantic from the scenic Intracoastal Waterway. Boaters easily navigate through four short miles of the Little River Inlet at mile marker 346 - with no bridges to slow down travelers.
  • Pump Out Stations at Every Slip
This convenience is hard to find at most Myrtle Beach marinas. Boaters at Myrtle Beach Yacht Club don’t have to move boats for routine pump out.
  • Excellent Security Measures
Many area marinas and docking facilities are open to the public for walking the docks. The entire Myrtle Beach Yacht Club is securely gated with code and card access. Additional security and conveniences include a dock box at each slip for securely storing items outside the boat.
  • Dockominium Lifestyle
Once you experience a day at the Yacht Club marina, it's easy to see why marinas are quickly becoming more than just a place to house your boat. Membership is akin to having a vacation home at Myrtle Beach - only it's a lot more fun!
  • Myrtle Beach Hurricane Hole
The Myrtle Beach Yacht Club is located in an ideal location to moor your boat during a storm. Often referred to as "hurricane holes", these marinas are located within deep, narrow coves or inlets. The marina should also be surrounded by an abundance of sturdy trees for blocking the impact of high winds. A perfect hurricane hole is far enough inland to avoid the most severe winds and tides, yet still close enough to afford easy access to boating waters. The Myrtle Yacht Club offers exactly that.
  • Boat Maintenance and Repairs
The Yacht Club harbormaster has held his position at the marina for 15 years and arranges boat maintenance and repairs for members. Services include engine repairs, canvas repairs and replacements, hull cleaning and more. Vendors are required to be certified and/or licensed and carry $1 million in liability insurance. Further, maintenance personnel are required to sign in and out giving absentee yacht owners confidence in security and accurate billable hours.
